Telrad TAG-11 Pseudo-Wire (PWE) Gateway enables T1/E1 Circuit Emulation Service (CES) and Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) emulation and Ethernet emulation thus providing TDM/Data transport over Packet-Switched Networks (PSN) for backhaul applications.
Telrad TAG-1120 Pseudo-Wire (PWE) Aggregator enables T1/E1 Circuit Emulation Service (CES), Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) emulation and Ethernet emulation to be terminated over E1/DS1/STM1/4/0C3/OC12 and GE/10GE and thus provides TDM/Data transport over any Packet-Switched Networks (PSN) for backhaul applications.
TAG-11 CPE product is available in a variety of configurations and convenient form factors to integrate with aggregation equipment in applications such as wireless backhaul, MSPP, DSLAM, Ethernet switches and PON.
TAG-11 supports 8/16 DS1/E1 emulation services, structured or unstructured, including timing over PSN, and data emulation services over any Packet Switched Networks, including: Ethernet, IPv4, and MPLS networks.
TAG-11 supports adaptive (MEF18 certified) or differential timing synchronization over PSN functionality, complies with standards G.823/G.824 jitter wander requirements over packet-switched network environments characterized by packet loss, PDV, packet miss-order, link disconnects and reroutes. In PSN environment where the clock is distributed from a central and accurate clock the TAG-11 supports timing extraction protocol complies with standard ITU-T 1588 V2.
TAG-11 is a carrier grad product support all carrier requirements to fulfill SLA agreement (MEF9 and MEF14 Certified) including: OAM inter-working between the TDM network and the PSN network, Alarm and performance monitoring of UNI/NNI demarcation points, traffic classification, rate limiting, QoS enforcement and traffic management. Other aspects of carrier grade include facility protection, Ring protection G.8032 support, extended temperature range, NEBS level 3 environments and RoHS manufacturing. TAG-11c is future proof as it based on network processor technology enabling flexible roadmap to fulfill market and standard new features evolution.
The product is managed by internal host, based on an operation system that enables easy configure of management objects, reading all events of alarms, performance monitoring and maintains operation, like the demarcation point loop-back and software upgrade.
TAG-1120 with its unique internal architecture provides GREEN ready solution using a very high dense service of 10GEx2 + GEx40 + up to 32 STM1/OC3 and all in 3U high and under 400W. With its enhanced architecture TAG-1120 is also able to support MPLS/IP Network and to provide full end to end IP/MPLS transport Network.
Both products are filed proven and successfully tested with interoperability with many L2/L3 switch/routers.
