Service providers are looking to upgrade legacy networks for triple-play in a cost-effective way. Providing a smooth transition to triple-play requires solutions that preserve investment in legacy TDM infrastructure while accommodating new IP networks on a single platform.

To that end, Telrad offers the TL6500 MultiService Access Gateway (MSAG), a high-density MultiService Access Gateway based on IP technology, designed specially for carrier class services, providing Next Generation Network and Triple Play solutions. The TL6500 supports a wide range of user interfaces, including ADSL2+, VDSL, G.SHDSL, Fast Eternet, POTS and ISDN as well as Giga Ethernet uplink.

The robust and scalable solution allows for outdoor as well as Central Office applications of single or multiple shelves, depending on the required capacity. TL6500 is optimized for advanced broadband applications, featuring a highspeed Ethernet-based backplane, broadband service cards and advanced IP/Ethernet processing as well as narrowband and legacy services.
