EoPDH/SDH Aggregator: TAG-110

The TAG-110 is a carrier-grade, standardscompliant Ethernet over PDH/SDH aggregator. TAG-110 aggregates hundreds of units of EoPDH CPE's, and provides cost effective preservation of the TDM based infrastructure, while providing connectivity to the metro or core Ethernet network. TAG- 110 is a member of the Telrad Access MSPP product family for operators with hybrid TDM and IP networks.

Today's operators are looking for ways to manage hybrid networks where the end points are Ethernet-enabled, but the transport infrastructure is TDM based and the core and metro is Ethernet/IP based. As users upgrade to Internet-enabled devices and utilize IP-based services, carriers can support them using Ethernet over PDH, with minimal uptime, minimal risk, and minimal capital investment. The TAG-110 can serve as a PDH to SDH gateway.

MPLS VLAN and PBT Demarcation Support

The Carrier Ethernet line of products supports both MPLS and PBT standards.

• CoS/QoS and VLAN tagging/ stacking. This option provides intelligent demarcation, including a multiple user access port with simple traffic separation and configurable CoS/QoS and VLAN tagging.
• PBB/ PBB-TE demarcation. This option provides fully scalable, multi-protocol demarcation equipment. Using full demarcation, service providers can dramatically expand their network control, allowing a larger number of nodes on the network than are available with other technologies.
